Resort Transfers
Unless you are driving out to the resort, you will need to arrange your transfer to and from the airport or train station. The choices are: self-drive car hire, private taxi, shared taxi/mini-bus/coach or bus.
If you are confident about driving in snowy conditions, car hire can be a practical and economical solution, especially if you intend to get out and about in resort and possibly visit other ski areas during your stay. If you intend to use the car for ferrying people to and from the lifts, make sure you choose a model with room for all your skis and equipment. Don’t forget to check arrangements for parking at your accommodation. You can book your car hire on our website if required.
A private taxi can be pre-booked to take you to and from the airport or station. This is very convenient and ideal for a group of friends who can share the cost, but may work out fairly expensive for a family, depending on the distance of your resort from the pickup point.
A cheaper option is to share a transfer with others, although this may sometimes involve waiting for passengers to arrive on another flight. There is usually a bus service from the airport to nearby resorts, and regular shuttle buses run between the ski train stations and main ski areas.
